Default is it ever possible to get away from KK preflop on low stakes?

I was playing 25c/50c online 10 player cash game, most players including me and the protagonist had about $50 stacks. wasn't really sure about the players coz i was multitabling but the game was slightly tighter than average for these limits. anyways i get KK in middle position... early position raises to $2, i reraise to $5, a player 1 from the cuttoff makes it $8.50, every1 including the initial raiser fold, back to me i reraise to $20, and the aggressor pushes allin... at that time i had a strong feeling that he had AA but ive seen QQ JJ and AK get overplayed at these games so i called and he indeed had the bullets... could I have gotten away from the kings at any stage? no.

but to make it easier for yourself, reraise to like $7-8 the first time round, then when he minraises to 15 or whatever, make it > $35 or something and you wont have to worry about calling.

edit: lol, every [censored] day

I think people who post such questions have no idea about hand ranges. You push your kings because it beats your opponents range for pushing all in preflop. You cant put him exactly on AA. He might be on tilt or think Queens are the nuts. Other people shove AK preflop everytime. Kings are too good to fold preflop against any players pushing range...
