Default 30-60 at canterbury... terrible fold?

Hero has AKc in mp

table is very loose and the button in this hand has been spewing for the last two orbits way on tilt. UTG is loose but not stupid. MP 1 is pretty tight and smart thinking regular. I have a very tight image borderlining weak tight.

UTG raises
MP1 three bets
Hero calls (?)
button four bets
sb calls
bb calls
UTG caps
all call -- 5 to the flop

Jh 9h 4c

Sb leads
bb folds
UTG 2 bets
MP1 3 bets
I fold -- (??)
button calls

Turn As

sb leads
all call

River 2 c

sb leads
UTG shows KhQh and mucks in disgust
MP1 calls shows pocket QQ
Button mucks
sb shows AT.

Should I be calling this flop or rather raising with the backdoor draw plus the overs? The pot was pretty big so I'm thinking maybe this was a terrbile muck??

thanks

Is this a joke? Of course your fold on the turn was correct. This was not close.

that said, you might have cappped pf. I would do this to make sure I have position for the rest of hand, though usually it won't matter.

Hi, would also elect to 4 bet preflop especially with your image. I probably call on flop.

By the way, where is canterbury?

are you guys really considering calling 3 cold on this flop? seems like that is pretty bad with dirty overs and two bd draws...your K also completes an open ender and some of your bd straight draws will complete flushes...this seems like a pretty standard "i had a very good hand preflop, but i didn't flop [censored] so im gonna fold and put my money in in a better spot"...

interesting tho.... he's getting 31:3 (results oriented 37:3)on the peel. You have to be pretty damn sure that your outs are no good to fold. He also has nut backdoor flush and a backdoor str8.

I mucked without much thought because I thought that there was a good chance if I hit my ace, I just end up paying off two pair (AJ most likely). I also thought there was a chance if I call the 3 bet the button might still be tilting and 4bet, letting the original better cap. If i turned a club I didnt want to have to pay 4-5 bets to see the river either. Thought it was a pretty standard fold, except a regular on my left (who was sweating) was surprised. Thought i might need a check up. Thanks for the input.

I think if you had 4 bet this preflop, given your image, you would've been able to see the turn cheaply on this bad flop. As played easy fold on the flop.

CSC,
This was my initial reaction. I think its close enough so that my mood and the 5-bet cap make the difference.
