You, nation, and the third guy (as well as at least one other person) live in the same small town and not one of you has (or can buy) a digital camera to take a photo in the next hour or so? Really?

[/ QUOTE ] Quoting myself. Anytime you want to address this that would be great

Just for clarification, I do not live in Johnstown. I'm in State College. I have been to Johnstown and played in some of the live games there with Nation and Chuck.

As far as I know, Nation does not own a digital camera.

[/ QUOTE ]

thanks for that fink.

Nation doesn't hav to be the only one to own a digital camera.
Chuck/nlnut could own one. Brandon could own one.
Somebody they know could own one.

digital cameras aren't exactly rare commodities.

Somebody with a bigger database than Trebek's could look into it perhaps?
And can also provide confirmation that all of Trebek's stats on these guys are accurate.

We're just going off of one guy's stats here folks. Confirmation from someone else would be a good thing.

[/ QUOTE ]

Early on in the thread multiple people spoke up that they checked their stats (much smaller sample sizes) and confirmed that these players had stats very close to the OP's post, and NEVER sat at the same table together.

There is no automated script running dictating action on every street. All human decisions.

[/ QUOTE ]
Good. I think it's about time that someone (statistician maybe) in this thread started to analyze the bet AMOUNTS - percent of the pot on every street - instead of just the %ages of whether someone did or didn't bet on each street.

PLEASE, someone do this:

- What percent of the pot are these guys betting on every street?

- What SIZED bets are these people folding to when they fold?

If there is no automated script running, we'll be able to tell if this "system" is within human ability or not. No human could or would be able to perfectly assess the exact same percentage bet (rounded up or floored down to the exact dollar or whatever) 100% of the time over 500k hands.

SOMEONE DO IT PLEASE!

[/ QUOTE ]

With AHK scripting it is easy to consistently bet the same percentage of the pot. Many people uses such scripts (like BetPot, see Software forum). Nothing shady about it. No automation, just an extra button (kind of) you click yourself to bet a specific amount.

Hi Adde,

You already know how much AHK scripting I've done. When nlnut said, "No automated scripting" and "All human decisions", I'd take that to mean that they aren't using AHK. No?

Also, AHK scripts won't help them when it comes to deciding on a fold. If these guys are routinely folding to tiny (in relation to the pot) bets or raises on the flop, turn and river, then the decisions are probably not human-controlled.

I apologise if anyone has already posted this but can someone provide stats on the accounts play SINCE the scandal - ie times when we KNOW they were playing themselves?

Lets see if they can continue to match those numbers.

[/ QUOTE ]

this would be interesting.

But they can just argue that they've been tinkering with 'the system'.

It doesn't even have to be a fancy digital camera. Just any kind of webcam or cell phone camera will work. They DEFINITELY must know someone with at least a cell phone camera.

Maybe. But if they are still all playing the same system, even if it's been tinkered with, there should still be concordance with their stats amongst the 3 accounts. It's not the system that is being brought into question-- just their ability to implement it so perfectly and reprodicibly.

ha ha - it was a long time ago. And I can see why you wouldn't really need/want a camera because there isn't much to take pics of. Har har.

I do remember some sort of camera-shop somewhere in town.

Hell, they have the Galleria mall at the top of the hill there too. Pretty nice mall.
Just drive on up and pick up a camera.
You can even use it on future visits to Vegas during the WSOP or something.
