88 in EP weird stack etc etc
Stars 22r. I'd come back from 1 BB by winning flips and what not, and after got my stack back went card dead and sat tight for a while. I haven't played a pot in a round or two. Note table is 8 handed.
You're play pre here: A. Fold B. Shove C. Raise/call D. Raise/eval (what kind of situation would make you raise/fold?) Poker Stars No Limit Holdem Tournament Blinds: t600/t1200 (Ante: t125) 8 players Converter Stack sizes: Hero: t18867 UTG+1: t27318 MP1: t25289 MP2: t44632 CO: t27370 Button: t28564 SB: t46438 BB: t36565 Pre-flop: (8 players) Hero is UTG with 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#cc0000">Hero? |

Raise small and evaluate. I think an open push is cEV-.

Re: 88 in EP weird stack etc etc
giving everyone 99+,AQ+ with 75 antes, it's worth about 260 chips. 125 antes wud make it even more +cev

Re: 88 in EP weird stack etc etc
You are right. It is significantly cEV+, but I think raising works better than pushing 15xBB UTG.
