Default Final Table FT 55k 88 hand...

There are 6 players left. There are no monster stacks or super shorties... everyone is within striking distance.

Blinds 5,000/10,000 (1,000... i think). I have 160,000 at the start of the hand.

I am in the bb with 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. UTG raises to 30,000, utg+1 calls, and it folds to me.

There are roughly 80,000 chips in the pot. My first instinct was to push... standard?

I don't think this is a standard push. What are UTG and UTG+1 like. If you push here and are called, you are at best a coin flip and often a 4:1 dog. It won't be that easy to "steal" the pot with 2 people to get through, but there is a lot of money in the pot.

I would guess at least 75% of the time you are called by 1 player and he will be 50% of the time a coin flip and 50% of the time a 4:1 favorite. Maybe this is pessimistic, but with these numbers it is -ve ev by about a SB

Reads?
Shove seems good

reads depend a lot on the cold caller.

reads and stacks on both players as well as prize structure is necessary, looks like a fold though with the info provided even though its close.

Yes, especially if they will call light putting you on a pure steal.

Pure steal? No one makes a squeeze play with junk. This is my hand from the final table bubble of the 100r last night.

With 88, I think you are better off taking the pot than getting called by a loose range. The raiser and callers likely have some kind of hands, and 88 is not a huge favorite.
