It's such an erratic play-perhaps he was not thinking rationally at the time? Maybe he took a beat on another table? Can we include worse aces in his range?

[/ QUOTE ]

I guess. I'm saying TT-QQ, AK like 85% of the time. 15% other PPs (including KK and much less often AA) and weaker aces. AK waaay more than anything else.

It depends on if you think you can outplay your table, IMO. He's obv not doing this with KK or AA so 90% of the time its a flip. If the table is strong, and you feel like this is a good time to double up, go for it. If the table is weak and you feel like you have a decent edge over them, then you can fold and not bother racing.

Meh, we have a 35 BB stack. Which will be 23 or so at the next level change. You're going to struggle to excercise much of an edge.

I'd fold but I would be really pissed about it

Why would you be pissed? Is it a problem to lay down a strong hand?

[/ QUOTE ]

yes, it makes me angry

I really think this is a situation where you have to be there and decide what the guy is up to, if he's tilting he could have almost anything and folding would be criminal.

If he's just afraid to play post-flop, I would fold.

UTG is new to the table, 30-35 years old and white, has only played an orbit. And has not played a hand in that orbit.

[/ QUOTE ]

this is what I was going on

which makes it a fold, yah?

In a recent $500 buy-in tourney at the USPC at the Taj, 1st level, 25/50, older guy makes it 700 to go from EP, everyone folds, he proudly turns up AA. That hand has altered my perception of massive overbets a little bit. I'd fold here, although I think you're freerolling a flush vs. AKo a lot of the time here. Speaking of that, did anyone see the PAD where there was a reference to Hellmuth losing a huge prop bet where he bet that AKo was a favorite against AKs all-in pre because it was drawing to 2 flushes? So, to summarize, two amusing stories, no real advice for the hand.
