Turn check isn't bad. I don't like the preflop min-raise at all though.

I'd fold.

Preflop minraise is standard for me. I think vs most villains you have to either bet this turn or call this river.

Any reads here?

I think you can call this river against a lot of villains. I think I see 8,7,6 type one pair hands a fair amount here.

I would have raised more pre-flop given my style of play and bet a bit more otf . The turn check is fine but usually with the intention of calling the river .

For every 3 hands I lose , I can easily think of at least 1 hand I beat .

I would call here.

Think of the flop he's calling you with..576. He checks on the turn, so I doubt he has a 4 now or he would be betting it assuming you'd call after betting the flop. With the 8 on the river, that leaves a 9 or 10/9 to beat you. If you ask me, he had something like K8 or Q8 and was going for the straight, but figured he hit top pair on the river and could either get you out or induce a call. As everyone said above, I think you call and beat alot more hands/times than you do lose with it.

Preflop is so standard especially bc Primo is probably minraise as his standard raise here. River Id fold.

not that it matters, but I think I fold this a large majority of the time, a TON of hands that he would call with on the flop made 2 pair or better... and for results, not that they matter, I was min raising, and I called timer and folded river and he showed 66
