Default i cry a massive amount. should i seek professional help?

so like the title says, i cry on a semi regular basis and its not because i have a lot of bad things happen to me. examples:

1) cried on FOUR different occasions during the last harry potter book.

2) cried during the movie ELF

3) during my last HS wrestling match i was losing and i cried. not because i was losing, but because i was in my last wrestling match.

4) cried when GWB was re-elected.

5) recently cried during gone baby gone.

6) was recently dating a dancer, or i thought i was anyways. turns out she had a boyfriend and she was using me. shocker here, i cried. twice.

is this normal? i assumed it was, but recently a few of my friends have been mocking me and saying i should seek help. i cant tell if they are being mean or if i should really talk about my issues.

Are we talking a couple of tears, or are we talking an all out bawl? This makes a difference imo.

Crying is a form of weakness, even if by yourself. Be a man and suck it up. There are certain situations/events in your life where crying for a man can be justified. The ones you listed are not justifiable.....well maybe #4

I haven't cried since I was like 5 years old. I think thats pretty standard for guys (exception being big breakups with long-term gfs).
