Villain called a button raise of mine earlier w/A9. He hasn't done anything out of hand. Did I play it well?

Doubt he's folding any ace he calls w/ preflop. I also assume he'd 3-bet most pairs preflop, so given that you'll only get a fold if he got air and that's hard to determine with accuracy his bluffing frequency here without a good read.

What do people think of making some ridiculously large cbet on this flop? In any legitimate tourney, I like your line, but I think in a tournament like the million, cbetting like 800k and calling a shove might make him fold some small aces.

If he's going to fold a small ace on the flop, then he will fold a small ace on the turn.

Also, this is with 31 people left. I watched him play, and he continued to call marginals out of position PF.

cbet/fold the flop.

I think that's weak. If I bet 2/3 the pot, and he check raised, then I would have to call 1.15 million to win 2.6 million. Clearly +cEV. Given that I'm almost a shortstack and Humberto Brenes is to my left, I can't pass up these small edges.

But if I do cbet and fold, then I am left with 1 million chips, and my M is only 4-5. How can that possibly be the correct play?

Sorry I missed you have a draw. I would just pot the flop and call a raise.

I frequently play hand like hero, and get snapped called by A10o.
