To all the guys saying "I'm that guy, but I'm actually funny":

You're not funny.

[/ QUOTE ]
For most post people it's not that they aren't funny, though that could be the case. It's that they aren't that guy they are remembering like three times when this happened and think maybe I am this guy, but people laugh at my jokes a lot so I'm probably that same guy just funny,

I have a good friend that I went to high school with that I don't really see too often who is this guy, he told a joke that literally stopped 75-80 people around us, band included, dead in their tracks.

About two years ago there are about 6 of us at our favorite bar, which primarily has live blues. We are sitting close to the band, where it is fairly loud. One of my best friends that I see all the time is successfully using his herd theory for the group where he talks to the ugliest chick of a group of chicks to get the entire group to drink with us for the night. He has since moved from the ugly chick to a hottie and we are both doing well with these ladies until....

My friend Pat, who for the past half hour had to yell to be heard says the following during a quieter part of the performance about 10 beers deep.

Pat: "What's the worst thing about [censored] a 15 year old girl in the shower?"
Group: "What?"
Pat: "When her hair is wet and slicked back, she looks 12."

Crickets.

The band on stage stops playing.

Seven tables around us look in horror including the group of girls we had been drinking with for the last two hours.

Pat immediately starts looking for another herd.

A few years back I had to do some volunteer work (in High School for some stupid club) so I had volunteered to work at a daycare center. Turns out one of the employees had sexually abused a little black girl. I'm listening to one of the parents talk to the owner, and decide that this situation calls for some humor. The owner is saying something to the effect of "...and we screen everyone we hire to try to prevent this sort of thing from happening..." and I toss in "hey Mary, I'm going on break, can I borrow your bong?" she gives me this death look, a horrible stare, and the parent starts to get pissy, says something like "I can't believe you think it's appropriate to joke about something like this in a daycare center, especially after what just happened..." then I took the joke too far, and I said "Oh come on, I mean yeah it's rape, but it was only a n****r! It only counts halfway. Besides, she got what she deserved, wearing those f**k-me shoes with Daffy Duck on the side... and for what it's worth, she didn't mind swallowing. At least that's what I hear."
