Default FTP customer service

Beat: I sent FTP emails about setting up the 50K HU tourney on July 9th and then again on July 14th with no response.
Brag: On July 23rd, I sent them this email "Is it typical FTP support to not respond to multiple emails for weeks? I'll be sure to let the 2+2 high stakes community know that is the case."

They responded 40 minutes later with this email:

"Hello,

Thank you for your e-mail. I sincerely apologize for the delay replying to
your request. Having forwarded your query to the Tournament Manager,
please be advised that we are taking your proposal seriously and are
definitely considering setting up high stakes tournaments like you suggest
with $10k, $20k, $30k or $50k buyin heads up tournaments.

The tournament managers are considering whether your proposal might be
more suitable as a public or private tournament and we should have a more
definite response as soon as possible. As well as researching whether
other high stakes players would be interested in entering these
tournaments. Therefore, high stakes tournaments are not a matter of if
they can happen, more a matter of when or how soon we can set these
tournaments up, whether it be in a month's time.

As you have outlined the potential demand there is for tournaments like
the one you suggest, I believe the cashier will be able to make exceptions
regarding deposit and withdrawal limits for specific high stakes players
as well as processing these transactions and distributing the funds
accordingly."

LOL.

Doing it on FTP because everyone has money there? Can't imagine another reason.

I asked them for hand histories before because I had lost them on PT. They replied with a long email on how to save hand histories on my hard drive.

I got the same thing. When I replied back explaining that I knew that, they sent me hands ~1 week later. Luckily for me, they only have "access" to the most recent 1000 hands or some BS like that, so they sent me a bunch of hands I already had. It was very nice of them.

and for all of the flack that UB support gets, they were 1000x better than FTP's, usually replying within 24 hrs and sending any HH i might ask for.

I'm talking to Stars, too. We have sent about 50 emails back and forth in the time it took FTP to send me one. Although it was a long one...
