As I said to you last night on AIM, "good things come to good people." No one deserves this more than you.

Thank God you didn't take the job in Wheeling, W.Va. ... Fresno >>>>>>>>>>>>&g t;>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>&g t; Wheeling.

Congratulations!

I assume you have prior casino experience? On that note, there is probably no chance a casino will hire me to be tournament director without being a freakin dealer first, huh? Like even if I prove to them I'm already way better than 95% of their dealers on my own (I used to deal/run charity tournaments on the side for a while until they stopped letting us award cash)?

[/ QUOTE ]

I have 22 years experience in the casino industry. There is a chance to start as a tournament director. What area of the country are you in?

[/ QUOTE ]

Massachusetts - which means my only options are Foxwoods (know the tournament director there, nice guy and good at his job), Mohegan if they ever open up a new poker room, and the new casino in Middleborough, MA that looks like it's going to get built.

So...

California does this neat thing where all roads leading to Fresno have speed limits that get higher the further away from Fresno you are.

If I know Jay as well as I think I do (fat chance of that), he's probably happy to be away from "everything in CA."

It is less than 3 hours from Sacramento. I drove it twice so far, and am going again Sunday morning.

Huh? I love California. No snow to shovel!

I spent 40 years on the east coast/midwest. You can keep the snow. All you can shovel.
