Whatch you talking about Willis. My statement regarding larger bluffs was meant to be, well situated bluffs work better against better players than the calling stations at 1/2 as they see more of the possibilities than the meatballs playing pocket jacks to the end. Didn't mean to imply bluff more frequent as the players at 2/4 will get a read on your play vs. playing hole cards very quickly, most anyway.

Initially, you will find 2/4 NL scarier because its more money...That may play into part of your perception..
However, there are definitely more aggressive players in that game, and rightfully so..Every penny is squabbled for..a lot less passive players... People at 2/4NL are hungry for the 5/10 NL game, many players at 1/2NL are content with playing for a 200buyin for the rest of their poker career.. You will run into a lot more people trying to make significant plays on you in 2/4.. If you play well, you'll make a killing just on calldowns. |
