Default Re: $6.50: L1 AKs facing 8x BB raise

I folded, but I'm sure this is easily the worst option. All the talk about preserving chips early turned me into a big nit.

I wasn't sure if its ever ok to flat call early for 10% of my stack. I'm thinking if its ok with any hand, it would be AKs because it hits either tptk or a flush draw + 2 overs ~40% of the time, if I remember right. In either case we can get all the chips in. Also, If a player in later position rereaises pf the hand is strong enough to come back over the top.

Arguments for shoving I guess would mainly be for fold equity? I didn't like the though of getting called by 88-QQ which I thought was a big part his range. Not sure if fold equity + the times he calls with hands like AQ are enough to make up for the times we flip w/ PPs.

My guess is call > shove > fold.
