i agree in the whole

however, i think there is merit to it.

in your example, you have discovered that it is probably a marginal situation and that one of the 3 options isn't the only way to go.

i think the first original answer should have reasoning, but that people should be allowed to chip in with 1 word answers to give the OP the overall opinion.

otherwise it will be several people repeating the same thing over and over again, which clogs up the thread even worse, imo.

I agree... but too many times the first reply to a thread will just be a simple line recommendation with no explanation... it ticks me off.

I think its perfectly fine for people to reply if they're agreeing with a previous line, that way we get a consensus.

this will sound arrogant but alot of threads are very simple and dont need much explination and if you can't see that then you should probably be brushing up at uNL.

As far as one liners go they do have their uses to add weight to another posters argument. Also to succeed in poker you have to think about conecpts/ideas for yourself so maybe one liners arent such a bad thing

Do like me, ignore(or read very briefly) what people with few posts and people who writes a one-liner in a deep discussion has to say.
Rely on what the Carpral/Tunnel etc guys have to say.
They are usually thinking deeper about every hand, and sadly there are some people who just repeats what others have to say or do not think abouts hands, just in order to get that Carpral/Tunnel etc status. You know who you are.

you've made 200 posts in 2 1/2 years, maybe you should quit lurking and contribute more instead of expecting us to do all the work for you.

every time there's an easy call I'm not going to waste time writing out "this is a call b/c in poker when your pot odds are equal to your percent chance to win then ... blahhhh"

you realise that not everone gets tonnes of posts by writing about poker strategy. alot of them write in NVG, BBV, OOT, BBV4life, travel etc that have nothing to do with poker
