I understand that bank accounts usually have limits on ATM withdrawals but do casinos not accept traveler's checks or something?

eh, when i did it, i was also driving cross country - figured odds of someone breaking into my room were about the same as odds of someone breaking into my car, plus i hid the money in the car.

it basically sucks traveling multiple days with that much money.
