You're saying everytime we call a 1/2-pot turnbet, we should call a river potsized push?

I'm calling here fwiw, there's only 2 combos of AA/KK, if he has one so be it. His line looks like how a donk would play AA/KK though.

How is the paired 8 significant?

[/ QUOTE ]

A slow played a8 or a scared 58 now beats us, it would be nice to fold turn though.

I dont know 1/5 times he is dealt a8 facing his a raise from another player, im just wondering why this guy here doesnt push turn. Interesting spot though, he must put villian on set but why are players making reraisings with 44-88 when these are set mining hands and should only be played for that purpose, once you start reraising these hands it feels like your trying to win fast and in poker that could definately lead to a rush of money, thats why I think there are so much players taking swings in poker because of these hands and the way they are being played. Just because the board pairs doesnt make it less likely that he held 88 preflop ya know? Post seems like he had a set on flop so he didnt get it in on turn, so why does he bother calling turn, everyone here would just jam turn and if he shows AA it happens? Just wondering a fold turn line though.

I could have pushed the turn but i felt like taking another line as its not many hands hes calling a turn push with. And no 8 is rarly in his range here.

Heres the hand:

Prima Network No-Limit Hold'em, $2.00 BB (5 handed) Hand History converter Courtesy of PokerZion.com

Hero ($202.85)
Button ($509.98)
SB ($236.27)
BB ($88.89)
UTG ($336.60)

Preflop: Hero is MP with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG raises to $4, Hero raises to $16, 1 fold, SB raises to $34, 1 fold, UTG folds, Hero calls $18.

Flop: ($74) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks.

Turn: ($74) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets $37, Hero calls $37.

River: ($148) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets $166.27 (All-In), Hero calls $131.85 (All-In).

Final Pot: $446.12

Results in white below:
SB has Ac Ah (full house, aces full of eights).
Hero has Kd Ad (two pair, aces and kings).
Outcome: SB wins $446.12.

And i think folding the river isnt bad really imo.
