Re: Top 5 no limit cash game book??
[ QUOTE ]
Anybody know about this book? http://www.amazon.ca/How-Dominate-No-Lim...575&sr=1-67 [/ QUOTE ] Its self published. Looks like it just came out. Not familiar with the Author, Sam O'Connor but he has a few Google hits. Also interested if anyone knows anything about this title, How to Dominate $1 and $2 No Limit Hold 'em. Here is what I found on the web: About the book How to Dominate $1 and $2 No Limit Hold ‘Em by Sam O'Connor is over 400 pages of tutorials, graphics and stories. Sam ably defines the thin line between winning and losing the cash game. By understanding the cards and the people who play them, Sam demonstrates the secrets of the winning side of no limit hold ‘em, secrets the famous pros don’t tell you. Along with the learning, enjoy the many stories and anecdotes. Acquire the book for the instruction; keep it for the entertainment. You’ll want to add it to your reference library. About the Author "Silver Dollar Sam" O'Connor has been playing and dominating high stakes poker cash games, including Texas Hold Em, in Las Vegas and elsewhere for over half a century. As Sam says; "I have learned a lot, experienced a lot, and I have a lot to tell." Sam O'Connor's book, How to Dominate $1 and $2 No Limit Hold 'Em, is his offer to those who would take advantage of a gladiator’s years in the poker coliseum. Additionally, Sam appears in the Warner Bros film, Lucky You. Watch him draw out on Eric Bana with three nines on the river, early in the film. Sam's journal of the filming and a number of photos are posted here on The Pokerkeep for your enjoyment. ----------------------------------------------------- This is usually a trouble sign: Along with the learning, enjoy the many stories and anecdotes. |

Phil Gordon is what Americans call a 'douchebag'. Kind of weak and weaselly, you know? He's probably no worse a pro than most but his attitude hurts his image. His Little Green Book is a good intro. [/ QUOTE ] He appears to be a nice person in his video. Why would you call him a douchebag? |

Re: Top 5 no limit cash game book??
Isn't the Full Tilt book just for tournaments?
DN's book is suppose to be out this summer, and Todd Brunson is suppose to do the cash game section. |

Re: Top 5 no limit cash game book??
These are very worthwile to read/study if you focus on NL Cash games.
Pot-limit and no-limit poker Improve you poker NLHTAP Little Green Book Ciaffone is the best. Whatevery you do stay away from the Championship books, even though they are fun to read they do more harm than good for your game with todays game conditions. |

Re: Top 5 no limit cash game book??
As far as hold em goes, is Ciaffone's NL and Pl book outdated compared to what you can get from NLHETP by Sklansky and Miller? I'm thinking about buying it just for the Hold Em and Omaha strategy, and I've heard it's a thinking book just like NLHETP, but has the other book since outdone Ciaffone's book? I believe his was published in 1999 so I was suspicious of this possibily being the case.
