The only problem I have with the "taking shots" description is that implies some kind of plan or premeditiation.
I basically had a nice buzz, finishing off a long weekend of some celebration after winning $15k in MTTs on Thurs, decided to play some 2/4, 3/6-6max as a diversion. I've barely ever played cash, except live. I was doing ok, some ups and downs. The drinks started getting stiffer and more frequent. Moved up to $5/$10 at some point. At one point wound up playing 10/20 HU with ZappyB. Lost $2k there. But won 1/2 back in a $1k HU SNG. Love those blinds going up. And from there I just skipped right to 25/50, near as I can tell. Somehow I just worked myself up into this frenzy where the money meant nothing and I was 3-4 tabling $25/50 against these guys. It was like an out of body experience. I held my own for about an hour until these two hands. I think we had 300 hands total or more. I made a bundle off TheStasher, wish he'd have stuck around. But no just be perfectly clear, at no point did I think then or think now I was anything but mega-negative ev in that game. I was just insane.
