i couldn't find it on the scrabble wikipedia but i'm confident that you get points for DOGS + CATS. if the S is on double-word, you get 2x points for both words.
btw, is "cuz {tyler|wookie|random internet personality} said so" really considered a canonical source in your household? edit: goddammit i type slow. i blame it on life tilt from my roommate and his lesbian sugar momma are not fast forwarding the trailers before watching _the condemned_. did you realize that there's a REMASTERED version of _universal soldier_? i guess i do not have my finger on the pulse of america, because yesterday if you had asked me, "do you think anyone would buy a remastered version of _universal soldier?_" i would have said, "sure, but probably not enough to make it +EV for the dvd manufacturer". OZI- I believe the correct answer to your problem is the suggested rules originally intended for you to take points as you suggest, that is until your wife changed the rules. Now the local rule is you don't unless she changes it back. Rulings from "the floor" are indisputable sir.
