Bottom two pair played very aggro
PokerStars $0.10/$0.25 No-Limit Hold'em - 6 players
UTG: $67.10 MP: $25.25 CO: $59.90 Button: $28.30 SB: $24.75 BB: $25.35 Preflop: Hero is BB with 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG folds, MP folds, CO calls $0.25, Button calls $0.25, SB folds, Hero checks. Flop: ($0.85) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero bets $0.75, CO calls $0.75, Button raises to $3, Hero raises to $9.25, CO folds, Button calls $6.25. Turn: ($20.10) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets $15.85 (all in)</font> Some history is in order because history played a HUGE role on this hand. Villain sat down 2 orbits ago. On those 2 orbits I lost 4 buy-ins. There are 2 maniacs on the table, they made 3 flushes on my sets and overpair on the river, and I paid them off, and I ran a bluff on one of them where he caught a set on the river and called. The bluff was the first buy-in I lost. The villain is single tabling. My reasoning for playing this hand so strong is that I will be called by weak aces he could have since he has to think I am steaming. Is this a good play? Tilt? To my defense, I kept playing session pretty standard for 3 more hours, and won 6 buy-ins (still ended the session with a slight loss, tho). Anyway, how do you like this play? |

Re: Bottom two pair played very aggro
If he's fairly agrro against passive/weakness, I'd just call the flop raise and raise over him on a safe turn like the five.
