Live 1/2 NL and redic PFR\'s
I live in Vegas and play live from time to time. As a 50 and 100 NL 6-max player online, I get fustagated by the extreme looseness of the awful donks live, esp in regards to pre-flop. Lets say you are at a table and have folded for 2 orbits. You have seen UTG or UTG+1 open for $10 and the flop was 4+ way every time. Is it wiser to open for $15 or even $20 in the hope of getting the flop heads up, or do you just continue to play super multi-way pots with $10 raises? The thought of taking AA to the flop 5 ways makes me cringe. Just wondering what some of the live veterans do when you see a table that has many loose players that will throw in $10 pre-flop with ATC.

Does it make you cringe when you get to play your SC's multi way (and they pay you off with 2nd pair...)? Works both ways. Just be cognizant of relative strength rather then absolute....

On these kind of tables, I jack my PF raise sizes way up the worse my position is.

[/ QUOTE ] OOP, there are very few pros to playing multi-way pots with big pairs. You're simply going to get much more one-pair value in a HU pot. |
