What do you do on turn without reads? Baluga?
How about river?

I'm folding here. He is unlikely to be drawing, smells like a set to me.

without reads i bet more on flop and check turn most of the time. i could see a turn bet against plenty of 'unknowns' though.

as played turn is a fold because he's rarely checking the river.

the tags range includes less draws so i'm less likely to bet the turn.

I play it the same as long as you call river.

Really, it seems like you miss value checking this turn? Most sets probably raise flop besides 99. Seems against most aggressive opponents this is a call turn, call river?

IMO you're ahead here about 0% of the time. What does he play this way that you beat? This has turned into a big pot and in this situation you don't have a big hand.

He calls the flop bet (which was too light) and then raises the turn when an apparently meaningless card comes off. Then the board pairs on the river and he leads out! Not only that his bet size is screaming, "Please play back at me."

Just my opinion.

Fold turn readless.
If villain is a tag reg and semi decent he is just messing with you (cc flop/cminr turn??? cmon) - call him down. Or he could be a lousy player with a preflop chart - which makes it a turn fold again.
