the pfr is decent, around 24/17. the limper is kind of fishy. something like 33/11.

This is a spot that drives me nuts, because most decent TAGs will double barrel a hand like AK/AQ, especially if they have a flush draw with it, given they picked up their gut shot and your hand here is almost always a middle pocket pair.

It feels really dirty to either call, and check/fold the river, or call, and possibly call a river bet if we don't feel it hit his semibluffing range. At the same time, folding the turn feels pretty weak, but I guess that's the standard/safe play.

If UTG is somewhat aggro, I think I call as played. No, we don't have to call river.

Raising the flop seems spewy to me if the original raiser is 24/17 and raised from fairly ep

You're folding like the top hand in your range. I don't mind calling and seeing river. But I usually flop/turn differently

MP never raises a fishy UTG limp with a wide range? FWIW, I run about the same and would do so.

so what are you doing? i really don't want to call here and fold river ui b/c i think that's a line i've been talking myself into too much.

if decent villain recognizes hero as decent,
isn't hero's hand pretty face up,
hence decent villain won't be 2barreling a blank here?
