Default Hand by TheHip41

10-20 hand online.

Derek Open raises with Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] on the BTN, Tagish player calls in BB.

Flop comes out T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Tag checks, Derek bets, Tag check/raises, and Derek calls.

Turn is a 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Tag bets, Derek calls.

River is an A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Tag bets, Derek raises...

What do you guys think?

I woud power through with flop 3bet and turn bet if BB could fold a low pocket, an 8 or a 3. Chances are he has a worse draw too.

If I was BB I would bet/fold the river often enough to make this raise good against me.

Away from the table it looks decent but in the heat of the battle no one folds his T here and theres not much worse hands he can have I think. It also depens on how he plays, does he often bluff scarecards or raise a lone A here?

so you rep an ace/bluff. seems like most pairs will b/c. bluffing the ace has become too popular imo.

Totally agree, nothing he can have at this point folds IMO

I like it versus a TAG who is trying to play well (and it's not a showdown monkey)

But I'm usually 3-betting that flop.

TAG dependent. Is beautiful vs some, but clearly not right vs some of the showdown monkeys in this thread.
