@ Sup,
You definitely should have RR that 95 hand on the flop or turn and probably both. Calling just lets him draw and any over hits you'll have to fold. You want to end the hand soon. If he's a CS then either don't play the hand or make a turn bet big enough to make him think twice...like 3/4 AI or something. Simply calling with this hand is -EV to me. Just my 2 cents.

@ Everyone else...
I play close to the same stats as Sup except my AF is a point higher. I also only play premium in UTG and UTG+1 is a little looser (mixing in A7s+, 67s+ etc). But when I moved to .25 I ran into the same problems he has. Dropped a couple of BI. Won a couple half BI. Everyone folding to my monsters and out drawing my TPTK. Alot of suckouts.

Anyways, what kind of stats are you guys winning 25NL with?

[/ QUOTE ]
I've already gone in great detail as to why I didn't 3bet flop; turn I led and he called, action didn't come back to me.

Sup, you realize you only got $1 of your stack in while ahead (the turn) right? With a pair/FD and an overcard he's 52/48 I believe, and only on the turn did you get any money in while ahead. I realize you're trying to defend your plays and whatever, but it's still tpnk. If he's THAT bad of a player, you can get his money in a couple hands when you have a more solid hand.

I will defend sup here, he had a read and went with it .... and ended the line with a bluffinducing check

It the way a Trained STTF Showdown Monkey (as Karpanen has coined it) would play, but it is also one of those valuelines that Jonny talks about so often.

It works best when villian is a lagtard, but holla ... you could lay it down river for that almost potsized bet, but .... whatever, that hand is really not that big a deal imo.

this isn't a tournament, passing up very solid edges because they seem high-variance is just wrong. If he draws out, so be it, I can reload and win my money back off him.

PS that money gotten in ahead/behind thing has nothing to do with the value of a certain line... if villain hits a million to 1 and you pay him 100 to 1... hey, you're getting in 100x more money when behind than when ahead, but you're also playing the hand very very profitably. And FWIW, I have 51% equity on the flop, so I'm ahead there too, if only marginally.

Please relook at my math if you have any questions.
