Re: Tina Fey\'s sitcom
[ QUOTE ]
Tina: What made you think I was gay? Alec: Your shoes. Tina: Well I'm straight. Alec: Well those shoes are definitely bi-curious. --- Alec: She said you reminded her of Jennifer Jason Leigh. Tina: Really? Alec: Yes. I made her repeat it. I thought for sure she meant Jason Lee. [/ QUOTE ] Alec definitely owns this show. I only have room in my brain for one SNL show. After seeing 30 Rock for the first time last night, it looks like I picked the wrong one. |

Re: Tina Fey\'s sitcom
1. Speaking of Alec Baldwin, I just sent "Nuremburg" back to NetFlix. Classic Alec Baldwin, but Brian Cox as Goering steals the show (I had never heard of Cox before he joined Deadwood, but as others here have asserted, he's the MAN).
2. OK, how many of you watched "30 Rock" this week because the episode was about poker? <---(raises hand) |

Re: Tina Fey\'s sitcom
I didn't see the last episode, because I just don't like the show right now. Fey and Morgan are trying way too hard to be funny. Maybe they'll get a little more comfortable with time. But right now, watching them is like watching a cat being strangled.
Remember that MASH & Seinfeld were marginal shows threatening to be cancelled after their first season, so who knows where this show might go. But they've got a lot of work to do. |
