Exactly like spivey said, this spot sucks because he's an unknown. There's certain players this is a snap call against, ie ones play a lot of 3 bet pots, and ones who this is an automuck against. I guess there's informational value in calling, but i'm not crazy about it.

Stats really can't help that much in this situation, you need a read or history.

not a massive fan of 3betting AJ to a TAG UTG raiser.

Tough spot, urgh, i call, but i really dont like it, i dont tend to get myself in these spots.

i'd call here. You've put a bunch of money in already and he could easily have some sort of draw here

PF is really bad. He raising UTG so hes already leaning on the strong side, AJ is just bad to 3b in general, you're going to get yourself in crappy spots like this one.

As played i would call, but i would have made my decision before i bet, whether i wanted to b/c b/f or check behind.

FWIW, I think b/f is terrible, and if you don't want to call a CRAI, I'd check flop. Also, a CRAI is so common in 3 bet pots, that betting without considering how to react to it is really bad.

Salut.

This is a very annoying spot that you got yourself into. TBH I think you should polarize your 3betting range versus a tightish UTG to something like {QQ+,SCs} AJs is junk vs his range. Anyway now that you got here you need about 33% equity and I think its a stretch. It really looks like you're absolute toast here with something like ~20% equity vs a tight range - {QQ+,55,33,AcKc,AcQc}. If you add KJo you get close to 32% but unless you guys have some history or he is annoyed I don't see it happening too often. So up to you to decide if you want to make a likely -EV call for advertising and information.
