villain is 36/7/1.3 over 200 hands

hasn't done too much, but got a bit crazy with A8 on a 765 board and managed to hold up when he spiked an 8 on the R against someone's bluff.

i always get sucked into calling 1 bet more in these situations which is a major leak.

i have to call the min3bet PF don't i?

then i feel that i beat a fair amount of hands he could be Cbetting with on the flop such as AK and JJ-TT.

i would have folded the turn except his bet was so big i thought he might be bluffing.

how would you play the hand?

i leave out the river action, but obviously i am not calling a river bet, i just don't want you to know if i found out his hand, otherwise you might think my thread is biased and that he had AA or w/e

Definitely turn. Maybe PF, but I can call there too.

I'm probably folding the turn. His preflop raise of 7 gives him a narrow 3-betting range and players with those stats always make min 3-bets with big hands. He isn't very aggro so I don't think you can assume he'd double barrel with a hand you beat.

I'm always calling preflop, flop I'd normally call. Like you on the turn I'd think he's bluffing but probably fold anyway.

I don't think his pfr of 7 matters much here, if you've been stealing he's probably fed up and is making a stand. I often see mid-high pps here 88-JJ.
