Default NL50 Flop Top2 in blind battle...Tough river spot...???<><>???

Villian runs at 49/4/1.75

We have a bit of history, he has bet strong against us
a couple of times where i have given up. What is the best line here? Are we making a move on the flop, turn or??? Then, do we call river?????

P.S Rapid autopot on each street....

Thanks!

You have top 2 against a loose player, you have to raise the flop.

In position, raise flop
In position, raise turn
In position and having raised flop and turn, a shove call needs to be seriously considered since SB potentially has something.

By calling- that seems so weak so he could have anything when he shoves.

I don't know if I would shove the turn, but I certainly raise the flop/turn

As played I woudl have to go with my read and hopefully have a couple samples of what he's held when he's overbet like this in the past.

If you still checked the flop (which I think is incorrect) then I would recommend a pot-size raise on the turn, and not a shove into so small a pot. I would be concerned that a shove would only be called by a better hand.

If he then shoved after I raised I would fold.

35 got there, 22, AT got there, you missed draw as played I fold river, I definitely raise flop good and big, ace on turn is proably the worst card possible in term of your hands SD strength, even a poorly played AA got there, I just don't know I can't see a reason to call the river.

I'd say make it 6 on the flop, if he calls make it 12 on the turn, and hopefully check behind on the river if he lets you.

Mack
