If you want to ask a specific question about a specific topic you are more likely to get a response.

Like taxes/duty. Yes they exist, and people here know about them, but they cant help you until you provide details and specifics. The way you worded it you may as well just wiki each term

Yes, the business people realized that their place was no longer welcome when the powers to be merged them with stock market.

It's difficult to start a thread about running a business / raising money for business / operating a business when the other threads are about which stocks are going up / down / sideways.

Can't blame em though, the business section itself didn't drive enough traffic to stay alive.

Here is a detailed question then..

I have researched 40' containers and found that there are various types.. open top, flat rack, refrigerated units..
and
the standard 40' (dry fright) container
and a 40' (high cube) container.
The research only shows a general size (height) difference, but does not say when you would use one over the other.

Do you know of any restrictions/regulations or general reasons for using one over the other?!?

Detailed Question 2 (4 parts)

Ok so i have unloaded a container into my warehouse, and have to load it into a smaller truck to deliver product to my customers.

Again I have done research on Truck GVW's.. but have little knowledge of fuel effiencies and truck sizes.
Our products are very light but take a lot of volume.

1) What is the cutoff GVW for driving a truck on a residential road. (specify canada/usa.)
2)What is the cutoff GVW for "extra" commercial insurance.
3)What is the cutoff GVW for manditory highway weighscale checks.
4)What if any engine type is "better" (fuel and enginie reliability) for carrying light pallet sized loads 1-6 pallets per delivery. (average delivery distance 10kilometers,(6 miles) 4 deliveries per day 5 days per week.
