i just want to chime in to say thanks for all of the people involved in bringing the current matter to light. You are all doing good work, and performing a big favor to all players in the industry. All of this...sick stuff though

Yeah. It's gonna be great when AP releases their statement and then evidence comes out that they are lying once again.

Mark Seif:

[ QUOTE ]
With respect to a session I played two years ago heads-up on AP in the 75/150 game, against "stuckinpgh" (I believe that is the name) that has been the subject of some discussion, I won fair and square. I am 99.99% certain that I did NOT fold, when first to act (not facing a bet) on the flop when my opponent claims he flopped a full house. That is complete nonsense and I welcome anyone to try to disprove that. I believe my opponent has recanted his story and I am happy that he was man enough to do that because that is the truth.

[/ QUOTE ]

Stuckinpgh has never recanted, at least not on 2p2. The last time he talked about it, in late September, he was still sticking to his story. He hasn't posted here since then. He would not say he was cheated, but his account of the events remained the same as in the original thread.

I want to see those hand histories so bad.

Edited for clarity.

Absolute Poker is working diligently to have this matter resolved.

"We need to prove to the online poker community that this can never happen again," the official said.

A company statement sent out to the public was expected by late afternoon Friday.

I was initially skeptical but the research effort and data amassed here finally sold me. One of the most impressive collaborative internet hunts I've seen.

No [censored]:

[ QUOTE ]
No management personnel were involved in this incident, the company official relayed.

[/ QUOTE ]
Then right after that:

[ QUOTE ]
"The person in question knew the internal system at Absolute Poker intimately."

[/ QUOTE ]
Does not compute.

We win? How? Seriously, don't be quick to forgive these [censored]. No matter what they find in the audit, it will most likely be some BS excuse that wasn't really what happened.

Forgiving AB is like forgiving your girlfriend after she admitted having a gangbang with your 3 best friends, but she promises to never do it again...

Don't be so damn naive people. AB screwed up and there is no way you should ever trust that company again... We "win' when AB is no longer here.

[/ QUOTE ]

Seriously, we can't settle. The scandal obviously goes to the very top.
