JTrout - fair enough.

I'm pulling for Hiroshi

Yeah he seems like a likable guy too. They all do, now, the editors may have to stretch to make another villain out of the group because they all seem to get along so well. From what I've seen there is a top tier of players that includes Hiroshi and Kontak, and a bottom tier that includes that guy Josh who skated by last night and also the hippy who putted it about halfway to the hole in the elimination.

I do think the cut line format is a very good idea. It rewards players who do well from show to show and protects the best performers from a fluke loss. With the exception of last week's Ryder Cup setup, but I was happy with that outcome.

I like the "running total" concept a LOT...and who can't be pulling for Kevin (hippy dude) given he's going to be in EVERY SINGLE elimination challenge until he loses (or wins the whole thing) :P ...or goes on an unbelievable heater from now on in points.

Tuq,

It's only a 20 minute drive on the 202 with no traffic.

$1400/yr unlimited play with cart monday-friday was enough to make the drive worth it for me.

I watched an episode and it was all at Oasis. A shame they didn't use Wolf Creek. Oasis is a nice course and a couple holes are gorgeous, but IMO is the third best course in Mesquite.

Well I don't get to watch the show as I'm in Australia, but I would sure be interested in being a contestant.

For players that have won on mini tours they put like dog [censored].

If anyone of the group could put a little they could easily win the competition.

One of the biggest differences between mini-tour players and successful PGA Tour players is putting ability.

That said, the greens don't look spectacular from what I've seen.

There is an interesting article from this or last month's Golf Magazine outlining the difference in putting between PGA tour, scratch, and 10/20/30 handicap players. There is a sizable difference between the scratches and the tour players, and I imagine that similar things hold true for mediocre pros and the big boys.
