Default K3o in BB, family pot, I should know how to handle this, YMI lost?

[censored] the stakes, this table applies here. The guy on my immediate right was the donk I've whooped twice up this high or higher; everyone else is unknown.

UltimateBet 5/10 (9-handed)

Preflop: marchron is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, CO calls, Button folds, SB (Donk) completes, marchron checks.

Flop: (7 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (7 players)

Checks and sees what develops. Maybe c/r a LP bet, c/calls some other bets, folds for two.

marchron checks with the intention of folding. Top pair weak kicker does not win many family pots from the early position. It's a holding that sure can lose you some money though. I suppose the 3 running cards may make it worth a check raise if everyone folds to a button bet. You could call for one bet to see the turn if nothing heats up. But I sure don't bet into that field with your holding.

Check and evaluate is the standard play.

Unless this is a really strange table, I think its an auto check and evaluate for me.

You might have the only K out but I don't see leading into a crowd with a horrible kicker and a flush draw on the board a good thing with that many people left to act.

My first thought was YO TENGO TOP PAIR BETBETBET, but then came to my senses and thought YO TENGO RIO GRANDE, CHECKCHECKCHECK.

Here's where the bet winds up coming from. Anyone for raising three to shut out two, or should I wait for a safe turn card?

(And no, I'm not trying to backdoor a playalong, boz.)
