LC: Shoving limpers, ranges and PTaceHUD Stats
Okay so I have been working on using Poker Tracker Ace HUD the best I can in SNGs.
For example in situations like this (this is the best one I could find. There are better examples when there is no bubble - Try and ignore this example in particular): PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t400 (4 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) UTG (t1710) Hero (t4775) SB (t2735) BB (t4280) Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. UTG calls t400, hero... contemplates a shove. If his numbers at 4-5 handed are something like 40/x/x then this means his limping range is pretty wide, correct? However, what exact range can be deduced from "40". I don't think it is 40% of the hands because that seems silly. What about if his numbers are something around 24/10/3? This looks like a bit more of a TAG player, but what range does the "24" really equate too? It's Vol. $ in pot% but not sure what this means precisely. I hope you can help me use these numbers more efficiently and more precicley because at the moment I know that a bigger number equals a wider range but not sure of the EXACT range. Perhaps there is some guess work in there? Also, a little OT question. What does Bbl%: mean in Tourney Manager? I Just got this program and have some ideas but not completely sure. I'm guessing it means bubble percentage or something similar but what does it exactly show? Thanks for straightening these things out. Cheers. |

Re: LC: Shoving limpers, ranges and PTaceHUD Stats
I would suggest playing with the free pokerstove program. With it you can see what hands make up what percent of a players VP$IP. Or if you have the funds sngwiz or sngpt.
Lots of times with questions like these you get the standard "it depends" response which is usually the case. GL and keep posting some hands. |

Re: LC: Shoving limpers, ranges and PTaceHUD Stats
Hey I'm not sure if you answered my question. I would like to know if something like 40/x/x means they are calling pre-flop with 40% of the hands.
Maybe you did answer my question. I am just a little confused about interpreting the numbers in PT ace HUD. |

[/ QUOTE ] I believe it shows the % of time that you 'beat' the bubble - for instance, if you made it to 4 handed in 100 sngs, and bubbled 25 of them, then your Bbl% would be 75% |
