Default Killerspin ping-pong

This is on ESPN2 right now. I've seen it before, and as usual, this stuff is crazy. It's fixed, right?

I've no idea what's airing now. But some of the events they've aired in the past are merely exhibitions. So it's not fixed in the sense that the winner is predetermined.

But it's not "real" in that the competitors don't care if they win or not.

IIRC, the announcer in the past has been Dave Ryan, the guy who does bowling telecasts on ESPN.

It will be airing again today at 2pm EST.

And they mention several times in the broadcast that it is only an exhibition match. So you get points similar to this one--two people showing off their skills without really trying to win: http://youtube.com/watch?v=JguvDy0kx...ed&search=

(in fact there was one point that was almost identical to it).

If you want to see top players actually competing, try http://youtube.com/watch?v=piCxXfjF4M4
