Default Horrible Board for KK

I don't know much about the villian. I only have 20 hands on him and he hasn't done anything unusual, leaning towards lag but not many hands on him. My image is probably tag.

I really really hated this flop and didn't know what to do. Thoughts on the flop? The turn card was better for me but I still thought I was probably only beating QQ. I felt I messed this hand up, please help.

Not a lot you could do. He played a strong hand all along. Probably JJ or TT preflop (although you can even see 66 sometimes). The flop bet looks to me like a hidden set.
The Turn bet looks a bit odd; if he really has the nuts (full house or Quads), I would have expected a smaller bet.

We will never now, IMHO nothing you should worry about.

Why not raise the flop?

Raise on the flop is basically a push. You beat 1 hand IMO and thats QQ. His range is AA/KK/QQ/JJ/1010/66, and since you have no reads yet think he might be a LAG possibly AQ clubs maybe. After calling the flop and he fires the turn, I think your beat and can fold.

This range seems too narrow, not sure by how much, but narrow nevertheless.

Why would he push with JJ, 66, TT or JT, he wants us to put more money in the pot with those hands and really has low risk of hero out drawing him. Push is a scared bet, but its not just a draw that does this. Villain is OOP and hating life if he has a single pair hand. If this was the flop I would give the draw more weight but its still in his range.

I agree a draw is in his range but not a large enough part of it to call - or at least that is what I thought during the hand.

The reason I think he "could" push JJ JT 66 TT hands that want calls is because a small bet looks too sus. If he bets like $25 it is going to be really obvious that he isn't folding on the river and that all the money is going in. Any turn bet commits him to the pot. So perhaps he could be doing this with a boat so I think he is on a draw?

This flop is probably one of the greatest you can see for KK, because you're getting action from a ton of hands. His range isn't only sets, JT6cc boards hit a ton of hands.
