Default $6.50 - JJ is this an awful fold?

Table wasn't REALLY loose but I felt a little uncomfortable. Is this really bad or acceptable on occasion?

I don't like it. Make a standart raise. There is no reason for feeling uncomfortable when you open the pot with JJ.

from my expierences, JJ is a hard hand to play, i'd at least make a standard raise and if you get reraised and still feel uncomfortable i think it's ok to let it go then

At this table I feel exactly that is going to be coming... or at least a call and then I am going to be committed to make a sizey c-bet from EP. Surely a fold here can't be the worst? I am saving a lot of chips that I can use to leverage and make solid pushes later on. I am not trying to defend it, just wondering if a case can be made for a fold.

UTG raises are given more respect than raises from any other position. Raise it up here, don't fold this, you lose alot of value by doing so.

It's standard to answer a question by replying 'wait for a better spot'. However, you're not sure to get a better spot than JJ. It's too nitty fearing QQ, KK or AA here.
