Im not very experienced yet so is folding pre-flop terrible on a hand like this? By not raising before the flop you allow 5 villians to take a flop but by raising you commit a bunch of chips with just Ace high.

flop is raise or fold for me
see, that's why limping AQ sux, it's getting you into those spots
even with those compelling odds pf i would fold sometimes, cuz those spots suck so hard.

Yeah there is no way I am raising that many limpers pre with AQ so early.

Raise the flop, you have the best hand here the majority of the time + a worse queen will stack off.

Yeah, raise or fold the flop. If only one guy had bet and there were no callers, you could raise, but here I think I like a fold. From this action the only card that helps you later is another Q. Someone could easily have KJ here, or maybe even QT or a set. Don't play a big pot with TPTK here against so many people. Save your chips for later.

i wouldnt raise AQ preflop, but would raise on this flop.
