Bingo, found it. It is 1:20 into the video. Hellmuth walks away from the camera and Negreanu says to the camera, "I have a bet against him to win a bracelet so im rooting against him, but dont tell him taht"

Matusow only made it deep in the ME 3 times in a decade, including a final table, then won the ToC and got 3rd the next year in it. Not to mention some strong WPT finishes and I'm sure some other feats I'm unaware of.
