Default Another monitor question (need more than what\'s in FAQ)

I'm looking at buying this Dell 24incher (http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/p...p;sku=320-5647).

I have dual link DVI-D on my laptop, but my video card is kinda old (ATI Radeon x300) and has only 128MB memory. Can I still run this monitor at its native res (1920x1200)? I've been looking around and can't find an answer. Thanks.

Tip for next time, click

And answer is yes, x300 (128mb) supports up to 2045 x 1536 or 1920 x 1440.

OK thanks, I saw the homepage though and was confused because it said this:

165 MHz integrated TMDS transmitter, for support of DVI Digital Flat Panels at up to UXGA resolution (1600x1200)

So I thought maybe that was the max supported res, but that that other link clears it up.

Maybe you are right, TMDS is used for transmitting signal via DVI to your external monitor, I suggest testing monitor on your notebook before buying.
