This screams of trying to get a cheap card with a fl draw to me. Not sure how confident I am about it to raise tho

I just call the flop. I'm never folding to this turn bet.

As played, you have to at least call his small donk bet. It looks like he has a hand but is not sure if its good, honestly I put him on an underpair or crappier 8 with his line. As for the flop I would just call, I dont see much value in raising in case the flush hits because with his lead, there isnt much value left in the hand if you raise the flop and bet the turn. If I had air and came over the top on the flop, I probably come over the top again on the turn.

Just call the turn bet. You don't have a strong enough hand to be raising. Raising would be a bluff here.

Don't think you can raise this turn for value. If you want to do it for protection then go ahead I guess but I would not since you may be beat so often and your hand kinda sucks, I mean there are very few 8's in his range here if he's somewhat standard. I'd be more worried about 99 than a Q beating us fwiw. I'd call turn, prob fold any club river and sometimes fold other rivers depending on his betsize.

If I am villain here and you flat call my turn bet I shove any river. As played on flop I shove turn and suck it up. but I don't like your flop line, I'd get busy on the turn.
