I'd probably fold PF.
As played, if you put him on missed overcards, then betting out is better as Villain has the decision to make. If you check and he decides not to CB, what's your plan on the turn should A/K/Q hit? |

these bigger raises over only 1 limper tend to be a half decent hand in my experience. Aside from that playing 22 OOP is not good so i'd probably fold this or simply play it for set value.
i think having called you can't expect a much better flop aside from a 2. The problem here is if you bet and he raises you have to fold, so I think i'd bet first. But i can't imagine this is profitable in the long run. An alternative i like against aggro opponents is check/call, then lead any non A turns, but that is really player dependant. If he checks behind i'll probably lead turn as well. Overall though unless the player is noticably weak or raising like this lots this is a fold pre-flop imo. |
