Re: Delayed Pooh Bah / Carpal Tunnel post. Random empirical observatio
thanks appriciate your answer.
some things to share out of my own 400k hands DB 22 and 33 were only +EV in blinds (I lost money with 22 in BU!) 44 was +EV in each position I am like 35/22 (but I lose quite much in blinds). |

cool post, oink. i am looser than you and think the very bottom of my range is losing so I'm looking forward to seeing whether you can win when you loosen up.

Re: Delayed Pooh Bah / Carpal Tunnel post. Random empirical observatio
Oink what a great thread. I know you looked into this initially for your own benefit but it lots of players, including me, will gain a ton from it also. Once you gain a solid post-flop game the abilty to push the envelope of +EV spots pre flop becomes so important.

Re: Delayed Pooh Bah / Carpal Tunnel post. Random empirical observatio
oink, to clarify, you fold JTo UTG and in the HJ?
I know there have been large discussions in the past about the low end off suit broadway hands playability utg/hj. Is your play of these hands (not play) based purely on charts? Have you added hands as you've logged more hours, and thus developed your own feel for good ranges? |

Re: Delayed Pooh Bah / Carpal Tunnel post. Random empirical observations.
Nice post oink. I've done this with my db, but I onlt have 70K hands since the last DB fried and so it's really good to see 600K hands and a more reasonable sample (like in Stox's book).
I've been looking for ways to open up and become a little looser like you, but my post-flop play still needs work (as evidenced by my few posts here), so maybe I'll remain on the nitty side until I improve. |

Re: Delayed Pooh Bah / Carpal Tunnel post. Random empirical observatio
I dont play JTo UTG and HJ. In Stox book he even claims it is borderline in the CO
My ranges outside the blinds have developed from the chart by Mbenhoe to the recomendations in Stox book and then adding a bit more. Like KJo UTG, KTo HJ, A4o-A2o in the CO. Unfortunately I dont have much "feel". But based on recent empirical findings I will add even more hands. JTo in the HJ is a possibility |
