Default NL25 56o Flops Bottom 2 Pair

UTG here is loose and aggressive. I have about 100 hands on him at 38/15/5.

+2 is one of my favorite loose passive fish.

The players to might left here are very tight and passive. I will limp quite a few hands from the HJ in those situations where I'm likely to have the button anyway. So, I'm in this hand.

Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $.25 BB (10 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

SB checks, BB checks, UTG bets $1.75, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 calls $1.75, MP1 folds,

Notice that +2 is short here. What should I be thinking about? What's the plan here?

problem is that if you call here. And UTG+2 pushes the turn, you will have a hard time getting money from UTG.you either reraise and show a lot of strength or you call and miss value from UTG.

That's why I think I will raise the flop here and also because it's usually the best option with bottom two pair.
Most of the time I think that hand is too vulnerable to slowplay at 25NL and enough hands call you on this board to get some action.

So, imo it's a reraise to 4$ on the flop.

Why $4?

I like raising the flop because I put UTG on top pair much of the time, and if an overcard to the ten falls, you may lose action. Secondairly, UTG may have overcards, so raise an amount that would entice that to call.

I raised about 3/4 of the pot to $8. I was really thinking I was happy to just take it down, and wouldn't be excited to see any 7, 8 or 9.

I thought my raise put a bit different spin on it though, because I think it puts me more in a position of needing to call if UTG pushes.

Thoughts there?

I like the raise on the flop. It gives you the control of the pot, and also if UTG has apair or overpair he will be willing to see the turn which will probably encourage UTG+2 a chance to add some dead money with less because he thinks he has pot odds. Tell me if im wrong.

I think if you get re-raised, youve got to be carefull of trips or over-two-pair, especially if UTG+2 is loose donk with any two cards. I would find it hard to lay this down unless the straight card comes out, and even then i'm too loose to fold to a push.

I find that at micro stakes vilians often over value top pair. Its probably just about +ev to call a push because of the number of times they just have TPTK.

This is my take on it but let me know if im way off, cos im here to learn!

your probably ahead right now(if they have 55 66 TT so be it, i dont think theyd be calling UTG with T5/T6) and want to get your money in as soon as possible as there arent really any cards that you can feel comfortable with on the turn.
If they push on the flop you call. As jackel said people overvalue TP a lot

I'm assuming you're saying fold PF. OK. Probably best.

I raised to 8 here on the flop. +1 pushed and I called to see his 66.
