Default low set on dry board, unreasonable line from villain

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $2/$4 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $687.60
BB: $425.00
Hero (UTG): $691.35
MP: $433.50
CO: $157.60
BTN: $394.00

Preflop: Hero is dealt 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 Players)
<font color="red">Hero raises to $16.00</font>, MP folds, CO calls $16.00, 2 folds, BB calls $12.00

Flop: ($50) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 Players)
BB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $38.00</font>, <font color="red">CO raises to $76.00</font>, BB calls $76.00, Hero calls $38.00

Turn: ($278) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 Players)
<font color="red">BB bets $67.00</font>, Hero calls $67.00, CO calls all-in for $65.60

River: ($477.60) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 Players - 1 All-In)
<font color="red">BB bets all-in for $266.00</font>, Hero folds
Uncalled bet of $266.00 returned to BB

Pot Size: $477.60 ($3 Rake)

Co is an idiot and quite unimportant in this hand
BB: looks like an normal tag on 5k hands, no histoy yet, but 8 flop aggression. Played like 20/18/5

Me: 22/17/4

The coldcall from BB on this made me suspicious on such a dry flop. I canīt see him doing that with overcards, nor an overpair. Twopair seems nearly impossible.

Am I beat by higher set? Or what else would he play like this?
Anyone folds to the smallish bet on the turn?

wow! why in the world aren't you going all in on the turn? i don't mind flop play, but i can't understand the turn, and the river is beyond terrible.

BB isnt calling there with A8. Can someone tell me a hand besides 88/55 that calls a flop raise cold OOP with betting still open. 46/67 maybe? I guess that would explain the small turn lead (cheap draw), but a decent player is folding that flop with a straight draw OOP.

Regardless of the rest of the hand, I really can't see folding the river. Kind of nitty, don't you think? Pls call here. As for the flop, this play is OK if you have the intention of getting it all in by the turn.

NL101 - stack off with set unless there are some extreme cirumstances (e.g. 4-flush or 4-str8).
