Nath I don't get why you are giving ppl [censored] regarding your range here.

Are you like, pissed off that you think ppl are completely misreading you?

not at all. it's what keeps me profitable.

but if this is a place to discuss strategy and help people get better, then yeah, they need to realize that they aren't playing their best or thinking things through by just assuming i'm going to show up totally wide in any spot i enter

also ansky them learning this from nath will help then 100x times vs other opp and ending up on naths table isn't that common since he's a lower volume player.

i dont like the raise pre. obviously when you make this raise you would prefer to pick up the blinds rather than being called, but being called by who im assuming was one of the best players at the table made it even worse. as played c/f the turn. vs. nath a crai or a bigger bet on the flop would be better. his flat on the flop has put you in a really unpleasant spot here.

An utg raise with no money in the pot at a stars 9 handed table is usually quite strong, and I think raising T8s in this spot isn't very good at all... and with typical players I

think calling with 88 in this spot is bad.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think this assumption is why a lot of players are opening a ton of stuff UTG if there are no noticeable miniscule stacks.
