Default Giving up w/ KK?

15-30 6 handed.

Button openraises, and i threebet black kings in the BB. Black. No diamond. Button is laggy, and he caps it.

FLop 669, two diamonds. I check-to-raise, and he checks behind.

Turn is the Ace of diamonds. What do I do now? FYI, I feel that if I bet, he'll raise any ace, any 6, or any diamond.

Josh

If thats how you feel, then you have no choice but to check. The A is a great scare card for him as he might feel his turn bet represents an ace. I check call here and bet fold the river unless a K hits

HU preflop is a cap there? This is online? Eh?

Now that you whiffed the flop and the worse Ace hit, check-call to showdown. Let him hang himself.

so do you call down (risking 2 big bets to win 6) or do you check/fold?

You can never fold the turn here and probably not the river against an opponent who cap-checked. You should five-bet preflop.

"Let him hang himself."

What do you think he can have here with which to hang himself, Joe? Thanks.

Guess the thought is he'll bluff off some chips with a single diamond.

Online you'll see the button capping with all sorts of stuff when the BB "fights back". Hands like KQ, KJ, QJ, JT, and small PPs, etc. They stick one in here when the Ace hits on the turn everytime. Such a preflop acion very rarely happens live due to the more 'shame in showdown' effect.
