Computer Speakers

Since like 1997, I have used a big bulky stereo attached to my computer and it takes up more space with 2 big speakers and the receiver than my 2 2001's.

I wanted to spend aroud $100-$150 on some really small speakers but do not know [censored] about computer speakers.

Anyone have any suggestions or recommendations.
