Default Re: New Software: Holdem Manager

Hi RVG!
Sorry if this has been addressed already, I have read the last pages and didn't see it. In version 0.37 or whatever, I loved those checkboxes on the report tab that you could click to see the 3-bet PF stats, like how much a player 3-bets against a steal from the SB and BB, but now I can't find those anywhere. I have checked the pre-prepared reports availible in the drop-down but couldn't see these stats, and I can't find them in the "filters" either.
Can you help please?
Thanks!

When .50 was released I made a new database. Now that .51b has support for FT capped games, can I just re-import the same archived HH folder? I am assuming it will skip the hands it already has and import the capped games now.

download install it
i have to say, wow
1) how do you do it. HM is about 1/10 of the size of PT2. just make me wonder what inside PT2????
2) importing average 48/s that is impressive too.
i need time to study on how to work on HM, i'm used to PT interface, but HM, there is definely worth to invest time to learn how to use it.
i specially like the get fish list feature.
now, problem.
1) import hand fulltilt poker, 90,000Hand. 340 error.
very impressive
the problem is. 340 error hand are all from 50NL which only has total around 1000 hands.
2) with PT2, i can click a buttom and see all the error hands, i can't find that feature on HM, therefore, it's hard for me to email you the error HH.
3) cash side is pretty good except for my 50NL HH. but tourny side is compete mess, i can't get any report.
4)bankroll feature lack of option for me to enter the startup $$. or option for me to enter how much is withdraw. or how much $$ on each site i am playing.

Thanks for your fast answer !
I have make it, and the first one he imported all Hands that i missed before, but now is the same.
No import for new Hands.

Also i have a flicker if he autoimported for all windows i have open (Tablewindows usw) for ca. 10 seconds.
This cant be normal
Pockertracker have i running, but don't think that is the problem
System:Athlon 64 3500+ with 2GB Ram

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ok, in this case I think the problem must be with anti virus / firewall / adware software you have running that doesn't like that HM is hitting porting 5432 to get to postgres. Can you try disabling anything like this you have running? Many people have had this same problem.

[/ QUOTE ]

I have no firewall aktiv, and also Pokertracker use Port 5432 with no problems.
Have closed my antivir-Software, but is the same
The flicker and the very slow autoimport have i only by Multi Threaded import is not select.
If i select the speed is optimal and no flicker.
But select or not, he autoimport only the first hand from a table, and then always 0 Hands.

Thanks
Wolfgang

Hi, sorry, one of those things I had to temporarily remove to get 0.50b done in time but it will be back soon.

Hi, make sure you remove all filters first and go into the Filter form just to make sure all stakes are selected.

[/ QUOTE ]

It only moves files when auto import is used and then only when the file is at least an hour old. I'll be improving this a lot obviously.

You should be able to reimport the files and it will skip the imported hands and just import the ones that were in error before.

[/ QUOTE ]

If you zip up your holdem manager\logs folder and e-mail to tourneymgr@gmail.com I can take a look and make sure they import ok next time. The way I let you know about error hands needs a lot of improvement but right now I'm focused on trying to make sure they import in the first place.

Yeah, I broke it right before I released 0.50b... Will be fixed with some other nice improvements in the next build

ok... haven't heard this one before... can you send me one of these files? Also, after the 1 hand imports, can you click on the "Show Log" and let me know what it says?

Roy - how do we export hands from the prior DB? I selected the DB from the DB control panel, and after some minutes had passed, received what appeared to be an encouraging message:

However, the directory referenced does not exist. For grins, I checked the holdemmanagerbeta directory, but it's not there either.

[/ QUOTE ]

OK - chalk this one up to user error. I run Vista, and when I installed the 0.50 beta, forgot to have it run as administrator. So it lacked the permission to create or write to directories under the "program Files" tree.

I have rectified that, and all is well again (it also explains why I wasn't getting any log files). I'm importing my hands from 0.37 as I speak.

You may wish to consider making HM Vista compliant by putting data and other files under the user data tree, rather than in Program Files. God knows why MS insists on making things difficult for us. . .

Cheers, Carl.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

If I try to continue it will not launch HM.
Do I need to uninstall and re install or what and can this be fixed. It seemes like HM has allot of problems with fire walls and anti virus's.
